About the Clinic
Clinic Description
Clinic Composition
Two full time family physicians at the Salmo Wellness Centre - a primary care home that houses Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Home and Community Care nurse, Public Heath Nurse, Primary Care Nurse, and many satellite services.
Local Resources
Mammography, Immunization Services. Postpartum Care, Prenatal Services, Pharmacy .Lab 4 hours/week. Mental Health out of Salmo Community Services (separate building across town).
Emergency Framework
EMS/ambulance. Hospital with ER in Trail (Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital), Nelson (Kootenay Lake Hospital, and an ER department in Castlegar (open until midnight only). All neighboring communities are approximately 25-35 minutes away.
