Sorrento is the town centre on the south side of the beautiful Shuswap Lake. It offers excellent golfing, boating, water skiing, fishing, scuba diving, surf-boarding, parasailing, paragliding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking and biking on many trails, as well as many other activities including music, theatre, and woodworking amongst other pursuits. Some outstanding downhill and cross-country snow skiing are available within two or three hours of town at any one of several world-class ski resorts. In short, there is a myriad of activities available for the whole family.
