The Invermere & District Hospital is a Level 1 Community Hospital in the East Kootenay health service area. The hospital offers services including acute care, labratory, and 24 hour emergency. All areas Invermere & District Hospital are relatively new with the hospital being built in 1991, Columbia House Residential Care in 1994 and expanded in 2005 to 35 beds.
