Fort St. James A

The prosperous city of Fort St. James is a National Historic Site located on the southeast shore of Stuart Lake, one of B.C's largest lakes. Boasting one of the oldest and most successful forestry industries in the province, Fort St. James is surrounded by mountains and a 300-kilometre network of forests, lakes, and rivers. Fishing and boating are favourite pastimes for residents here as is skiing.
