RGPLP - General Practitioner needed for Cortes Health Centre

Role and Facility Information

Take 1, 2 or more weeks of dates above. Friendly patients, supportive MOAs, full time nurse, visiting social worker and mental health nurse. Clinic 9am-5pm. Patients 9am-4pm. Klahoose First Nations outreach clinic every other Tuesday. *very very occasional after house coverage as needed (ie - home visits, palliative care), phone advise as per college mandate. Critical patients are managed by 911 independently and taken off island. Accommodations provided.

1 physician, 1 Registered Nurse, MOA's, 2 exam rooms, telehealth, treatment room & pharmacy

Local Resources

Community paramedic, lab 2x per week, massage therapy and acupuncture on island

Emergency Framework

BC Ambulance service including helipad for medevac.

Accommodation Description

Accommodation is provided by the association - please do not claim accommodation expenses through RGPLP. Modern two bedroom (1 king; bunkbeds) on beautiful shared fully fenced property 1km from clinic. Electric heat with generator back up. Smart TV.

Most Convenient Mode of Transportation

Sail via BC Ferries. You must bring your own vehicle as there is no public transportation. Folding, non-eBike, available.
