About the Clinic
Clinic Description
Clinic Composition
The Elkford UPCC operates as both a longitudinal clinic and a walk-in/urgent care model. Three family physicians and one NP, all part-time; two Primary Care RNs 7 days per week; three MOAs on staff during the week (one on weekends/STATS).

Emergency Framework
ER patients are sent to Sparwood via ambulance or private vehicle.

GI and Rheum in Fernie, many visiting specialists including surgeons come to Fernie.Support from tertiary center EKRH is also available through MOCAP.Consultant Infor:PCN diabetic educator, dietician, mental health clinician, home health, PT, OT, SW.

Our MOAs will help you with anything you need. Accommodation as per RLP is available in Fernie, Sparwood and Elkford. There is a limited availability of local accommodation which may be possible (arranged with our manager Nancy-Jo). Swipe cards can be signed out with the team lead nurse.

If you are new to our site, this can be arranged on your first day.
