Clinic Composition
We have 4 doctors, 4 exam rooms, Primary Health LPN, Home Care RN, and a Public Health RN
Local Resources
PT, OT, Mental Health, Lab (3 days/week), X-Ray (1 day/week), visiting providers (RT, Psychiatry, CDM, pediatrics)
Emergency Framework
We have ER services Mon-Fri, 9-5 with ambulance service 24/7, and with the closest fully serviced hospital in Nelson, BC (60mins away)
Call Expectations
One doctor per day will be on call from 0900-1700 Monday-Friday.

What training is provided for the EMR System
Quick training by the IT department via telephone and remote access to a computer. The MOA's try to figure the rest out as systems are a bit different. Onsite, via telephone.

Welcoming Procedures
The MOA's welcome the locum, give them a tour, as well as a locum orientation package.
Orientation
A quick orientation of the office and building; face to face, hands on, emails, a binder, passwords and keys are provided. MOA's for the office, and another Physician orientates for the ER

Fly via Air Canada into Castlegar. Car rental can be tricky but available in the region. No bus services from airport to Kaslo.
