Clinic Composition
We have 4 doctors, 4 exam rooms, Primary Health LPN, Home Care RN, and a Public Health RN

PT, OT, Mental Health, Lab (3 days/week), X-Ray (1 day/week), visiting providers (RT, Psychiatry, CDM, pediatrics)
Emergency Framework
We have ER services Mon-Fri, 9-5 with ambulance service 24/7, and with the closest fully serviced hospital in Nelson, BC (60mins away)
Call Expectations
One doctor per day will be on call from 0900-1700 Monday-Friday. Usually locum schedule 1:2.

What training is provided for the EMR System
Quick training by the IT department via telephone and remote access to a computer. The MOA's try to figure the rest out as systems are a bit different.

Welcoming Procedures
The MOA's welcome the locum, give them a tour, as well as a locum orientation package.
Orientation
A quick orientation of the office and building; face to face, hands on, emails, a binder, passwords and keys are provided. MOA's for the office, and another Physician orientates for the ER
