About the Clinic
Clinic Description
Clinic Composition
Our Clinic is known as bright and airy with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 1 P/T GP, long term experienced MOA, access to a Social Worker, Community Paramedic and an RN (currently on Mat leave)
IH remote lab available downstairs 2 days/week

Emergency Framework
BC Ambulance station with onsite Paramedics stationed in Midway. The Boundary District Hospital in Grand Forks 35 minutes, Kelowna General Hospital, Penticton Regional Hospital, and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail each about 2 hours
Call Expectations
On Call shifts at the Boundary Hospital may be available if desired, but are entirely optional

Welcoming Procedures
The MOA is happy to book the time required for Clinic and EMR orientation.
Orientation
The MOA will assist with the MedAccess EMR and Mikata AI Scribe, provide initial passwords and answer any questions regarding the clinic and community.
Social Involvement
The Village of Midway is a friendly, centrally located community with amenities generally found in larger centers. Midway is located at Mile 0 on the Kettle Valley Railway line offering excellent biking opportunities on the old rail grade towards the Okanagan or the Kootenays.

Patient appointments are booked. Fit In appointments can be made if necessary. Friendly and flexible clinic.

The clinic does not provide accommodation.
Accommodation Description
Midway - Short Term Rental home or the Mile 0 Motel with kitchenette. Both very close to the Clinic. The MOA is happy to assist in booking accommodation at either of these locations. Greenwood (15 min), Grand Forks (40 min) for other accommodation
