Role and Facility Information
Squamish General Hospital (SGH) is seeking OBGYN or GP-ESS providers to support maternity care. SGH currently has roughly 400 births/year with the potential for growth in this expanding community. Patients with obstetrical, medical and/or surgical risk factors will be referred to Lions Gate Hospital for care. SGH is looking for an OBGYN, GP-ESS, or GP-OSS who is available for emergency caesarean sections coverage when the following criteria are met: -Term -Singleton (single infant) -No prior uterine surgery -BMI< 35 -no plan for salpingectomy Seeking coverage for April 28-30, 2025. Obstetrical/Gynecological emergencies will be sent to LGH OB/Gyne.
