If you are looking for a working holiday, what better place in the early fall than Quadra Island, Biking HIking, swimmming, climbing kayaking, whale watching. Local Resources
We have a pharmacy next door, and the lab tech from Campbell River comes over twice a week for routine lab work, otherwise pts. are given a travel form to get to CR Hospital for diagnostics, consultations, etc.
Emergency Framework
Quadra Island has ambulance services, and an active First Responder group with the Quadra Island Fire Department. We also have an RCMP station on the island.

We do have a basic suite above the clinic that is available most of the time. If not available, contact the Locums office to assist with all travel arrangements, based on the government accommodations rate.

Rental cars are available in Campbell River, and there is a taxi service on the island, but no public transportation.
