Role and Facility Information
Squamish General Hospital (SGH) is seeking GP-ESS or GP-OSS providers to support maternity care. SGH currently has roughly 400 births/year with the potential for growth in this expanding community. Patients with obstetrical, medical and/or surgical risk factors will be referred to Lions Gate Hospital for care. SGH is looking for a GP-ESS or GP-OSS who is available for emergency caesarean sections coverage when the following criteria are met: Term; Singleton (single infant); No prior uterine surgery; BMI< 35; no plan for salpingectomy. Seeking coverage for July 2025 with flexible dates. Obstetrical/Gynecological emergencies will be sent to LGH OB/Gyne.
